This dog wasnt trying to be dominant though. It was fear mixed with protection and in the end there was just an even more scared dog. The dog was trying to return where he felt safe. This type of training is very flawed. You can thumbs down me if you love him, but there are better, more effective and long lasting methods to stop this type of behaviour. The most easy, simply putting the dog on the floor if it becomes agressive, they soon learn, bite, growl = floor and will stop.

To use the dogs own pack behavior is exactly what teaches a dog how to behave and fit in. Submission isn’t wrong or something hurtful, it is giving the dog peace.
