What are some good qualities and bad qualities about chihuahuas?
because i wanted to get a yorkie, and my mom doesn't really like dogs because they stress her out, but surprisingly she wants a chihuahua. i don't really think they are that great, i've never had one before so i said i'd give it a shot. my mom said that chihuahuas usually dont bark, is that true?? and what are some good and bad things about them?? thanks
bad: they are always shaking
bad: they DO bark a lot and for no reason
bad: more likely to step on them because they are so small
bad: break bones easily
bad:they can easiy run away
bad:bug dogs can attck them easily
good:easier to give them a bath
good:they are small
good:they live longer
good:dont need that much excersice

I have 4 chihuahuas! Two blonde, one black and one brown. Okay, there amazing! Always energetic, THE BIGGEST CUDDLERS! And super adorable, mostly snuggly. But, once you get them going, they are so hyper and playful! They don't eat a lot and don't need mega attention. Okay, theres ONE bad quality. They bark very high pitched unless you don't train them. If you give them a training beeping collar [ A collar that beeeps when they bark, but they stop right after and evenutually stop when they hear the beep.] they stop!
